Reviews and Ratings
The hotel features beautiful rooftop views of Table Mountain, and the decor is quite modern and tasteful. The outdoor seating provides a lovely place to relax, and the on-site massage services were a great bonus. However, the rooftop bar could get crowded with non-residents, which made it difficult to enjoy a private moment, and the breakfast service was a bit hit or miss. Overall, it has a lot of potential but needs to focus more on creating a relaxing atmosphere.
Our stay at Cloud 9 had its ups and downs. The hotel is in a charming location, and my first impression was good with the attentive staff. However, our rooftop bar experience on Valentine’s Day was disappointing, which overshadowed some of the positives. The room was decent, but we had a less-than-ideal view. Overall, it was a mixed bag, but the staff's efforts did shine through.
Cloud 9 Boutique Hotel and Spa offers a delightful stay in the heart of Cape Town, featuring comfortable accommodations and a variety of amenities like two pool decks and a rooftop bar with stunning views. The family-friendly unit was perfect, and the breakfast was a highlight with delicious options. However, the noise from nearby bars at night could be an issue for light sleepers, and the room's air conditioning was a bit temperamental at times.
We had a lovely stay at Cloud 9, thanks to its fantastic location surrounded by charming restaurants and bars. The atmosphere was cozy and the rooms were nice, though our experience was somewhat marred by inconsistent service. The views were stunning, and while breakfast could use some improvement, the overall experience was pleasant.
Cloud 9 offers a modern and unique experience with lovely views of Table Mountain from the rooftop. The accommodations were comfortable, but the breakfast service was inconsistent, which caused some stress during our stay. The hotel is surrounded by great dining options and has relaxing facilities, although the rooftop bar was under refurbishment during my visit.
